To perform executions in F.I.S.T Forged in Shadow Torch is straightforward but is sometimes hard to see. All you need to do is press Circle when the enemy is highlighted in yellow, and Rayton will execution them in a unique animation for each enemy you come across.
But more often than not, the highlight will appear when you are already pounding them to death with your giant mechanical first, so the execution will not occur due to well already being dead. The yellow highlight does not disappear, so you can perform an execution at any time, as long as you don’t kill them.
When an enemy is highlighted yellow, this means they are in a weakened state, which is why you can use an execution on them. An execution is a highly damaging move but with style. Sure the enemy is almost dead upon Rayton performing this elaborate move, but he sure gets points for style.
When up against a boss, not only does execution damage them greatly, you can also weaken them. But most of the time, a boss will always turn yellow so you can defeat them with an awesome execution move
