Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales has pretty much the same combat mechanics as compared to the first game, apart from a few of Miles’ special abilities, such as Venom and camouflage. Like the previous game, you can also perform finishers to instantly take down enemies.

To perform finishers, you need to build up your combo streak. Building the combo streak is quite easy. All you need to do is keep hitting enemies without getting hit yourself. Once you get hit, the combo streak resets and you have to build it all over again.

Once you have a 15 combo streak, you can perform a finisher. To perform a finisher, all you need to do is press the Triangle and Circle button together. This will instantly take out weaker enemies, while you might need to lower the health of stronger enemies a bit before performing a finisher on them.

The 15 combo streak can be lowered by unlocking more skills as you progress through the game. In fact, one skill allows you to stack up to three finishers as well, meaning if you have a 30 combo streak, you can perform three finishers (after you have unlocked the skill that lowers the combo requirement to 10). This can be unlocked by leveling up and unlocking skills via skill points in the game. You can read more about it in our guide here.
