How to Pet Wolves and Boars in Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 4

When Chapter 3 Season 3 dropped, we learned that we can ride wolves and boars. However, with Season 4, we can show our mounts some affection. Granted, the ability to pet your mount gives you no superpowers or crazy abilities, nor does it give you any sort of advantage over your enemies. What it does, though, is show how dedicated Epic Games is to create a fun environment for their players. They paid attention to minute details that most developers wouldn’t. Even though Fortnite is a battle-themed game, they still made sure to add in a more playful vibe. Read on, and I will explain how to ride and pet a wolf or boar.

How to Get Keys & Open Vaults in Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 4

Whether you prefer to ride wolves or boars in Fortnite, it matters little. With this new season, you can pet either. To do this, you have to find a wolf or boar to tame. Typically this can be done in between points of interest. Find a nice grassy plain where buildings and cars are scarce. Once you find one to tame it, you need only to hop on it’s back!

Once you’ve tamed either a wolf or boar and you are sitting on its back, you can pet it. The button that selects the “Pet” option is different on most gaming systems. However, if you are on the console, you would use the down button on the D-Pad.

Like I said earlier, there isn’t really any benefit to petting a wolf or boar in Fortnite. But, it may not be horrible information to have. Maybe Fortnite will give us the ability to tame other animals or even keep them as permanent tames in Chapter 5! Either way, it adds a bit of fun to the game!
