You are first introduced to Earth Born in Eastward as Sam and her friends are watching the TV series in Potcrock Isle. The children are highly invested in the show as well as playing the arcade game. You might be wondering how to play the game yourself.

In each city, you can find an Earth Born arcade machine as well as a Pixball machine. They are typically right outside of the store. While the Pixball machine requires tokens, you will need a memory card to play Earth Born. You will buy this in Potcrock Isle as part of the story.

Earth Born is an old-school JRPG that features turn-based combat, rogue-lite attributes, and multiple allies to recruit. Each ally has abilities that require AP to use. Throughout battles, your AP will slowly replenish. This in-game game features a full-fledged experience system and equipment system. As you win battles, you will earn gold and level up. You can use this gold to buy equipment or find it in caves. Earth Born also features a fast travel system via Seagull Statues. You simply need to activate it once to keep using it.

Earth Born is a tough game. You only have days to prepare to fight the final boss, the Demon King. You need to use that time wisely to prepare, or you will be defeated. No need to worry though, Earth Born wasn’t meant to be completed in a single run. It will take time to find the best strategy and beat the game.

Beating the game will unlock different screen modes. If you need assistance, use Pixballs to grant yourself items in-game! Earth Born has an auto-save system to track your progress as well, but it isn’t the most reliable.
