Football fanatics looking to get their hands on the latest entry in the FIFA series will be delighted to know that they can indeed play the game early. FIFA 22 will release October 1, but there are two ways to play the game early.

Those who purchase the $99.99 FIFA 22 Ultimate Edition can play the game on September 27. However, you can play even earlier than this if you subscribe to EA Play. EA Play allows players to dive in on September 22 for $4.99 per month or $29.99 per year.

Readers should note that the EA Play early version is only a ten-hour trial, so you won’t be able to play the full game. However, all of your progress will carry over once the game releases on October 1. The extra time will be important for those invested in Ultimate Team.

Players can preload the game before launch to ensure that they have access the minute it is available. The EA Play trial is also a great way to try out FIFA 22 before purchasing the full game. Either way, getting in early will allow players to get a leg up on other players when the full game launches!
