You can play Roblox in VR mode on the Oculus Rift or HTC Vive systems. For many, this is great news, as it provides an exciting and fresh way to experience Roblox games. But it may be intimidating for some to figure out how to do the setup. Read below to see how easy it is to set up VR on Roblox!
HTC Vive
If you have the HTC Vive, it is very easy to set up Roblox for VR. Once you have your equipment in front of you, you’ll use the SteamVR application to enable VR. Make sure the app is open, base stations are charged, and controllers are on. If this is all done correctly, the status icons and lights will all be lit and green. Once this is done, you should be ready to play Roblox! If it still not working, make sure to double-check the status icons.
Oculus Rift
The Oculus Rift is fairly simple to set up to play Roblox. Use the Oculus App on the computer, starting by launching the application. From there, go to Gear Settings. Then, navigate to the General settings. Toggle the option to allow the Oculus App to run unknown sources. The settings will make you confirm one more time to allow unknown sources. Confirm and then enter Roblox. Play and enjoy!
