After years of waiting, SNES games have finally arrived on Nintendo Switch. While not in the form of a renewed Virtual Console, the platform’s titles are playable the same way NES games were. Though the process is simple, it might take a few more steps than you anticipate. And with so many waiting so long to get these games on the latest Nintendo console, confusion has abounded. How to Play SNES Games on Nintendo Switch
As I said, the process is the same as what you had to go through to play NES titles. First off, you need an active membership to Nintendo Switch Online. This $19.99 a year service offers a few perks, such as these classic games, Tetris 99, and online multiplayer. Once you have that just head to the eShop from the Switch main menu. There you can scroll down to the Nintendo Switch Online section where you’ll find the Super Nintendo Entertainment System Nintendo Switch Online app.
