The demo for Trigon: Space Story can be found on its Steam page. Look a bit below the images to see the demo. It is about 2.5 GB and is worth trying if you’re thinking about getting the game.
Even though the demo leaves out much of the main game, it gives you a sense of how the game will play. The demo includes space battles, navigating a starship, and commanding a crew. The demo gives you a sense of being a space hero.
It does not display much of the campaign or story. However, the ship combat system is prominent. You can attack many ships, learn how things work, and figure out how to protect your ship from enemy ship attacks.
