Little did he know that all his knowledge would be tested in every trial hosted by The Entity. His perks increase the rate at which survivors can repair generators while avoiding the Killer as much as possible. It is important to note that you must be good at Great Skill checks and looping the Killer for his perks to be helpful. Here is how you play Vittorio Toscano from Forged in Fog in Dead by Daylight.

How to Play Vittorio Toscano in Dead by Daylight

Chapter 26, Forged in Fog, releases on November 22, 2022. We have provided everything you need to know in this guide to play him so you are ready when he is released.

Vittorio Toscano’s Dead by Daylight Perks

Vittorio’s perks provide a lot of utility towards completing Generators, which is the game’s primary objective. You can either burst down a Generator with Potential Energy or give a speed boost to other survivors who are repairing nearby when you are in a chase. It is important to note that you must be good at Great Skill checks and looping the Killer for his perks to be helpful.

Potential Energy

After repairing Generators for a total of 12/10/8 uninterrupted seconds, press the Active Ability button to activate Potential Energy:

  • Continuing to repair the Generator will charge Potential Energy instead of progressing with the Generator.
  • Converts 1.5 % of Repair progression into 1 Token, up to a maximum of 20 Tokens.
  • Missing Skill Checks results in losing some Tokens.

While Potential Energy has at least 1 Token, press the Active Ability button while repairing a Generator to instantly progress it by 1 % per Token, consuming all remaining Tokens and deactivating Potential Energy.

Potential Energy loses all Tokens and deactivates upon losing a Health State.

Fogwise

Succeeding a Great Skill Check while repairing a Generator reveals the Killer’s AUra to you for 4/5/6 seconds.

Quick Gambit

Increases the Repair speed of any other Survivor by 6/7/8% while you are being chased within 24 meters of the Generator they are currently repairing.

Counters to Vittorio Toscano’s Perks

The Killer can counter Vittorio’s Potential Energy perk by running any perks that cause skill checks to become harder. When you fail a skill check, you lose tokens on Potential Energy, which makes the perk worthless. Common perks Killers run to make skill checks hard are Unnerving Presence, Overcharge, and Hex: Huntress Lullaby.

The Killer can counter Vittori’s Fogwise perk by using any powers, perks, or add-ons that give them the Undetectable status effect. Undetectable prevents the Killer’s aura from being shown to survivors in certain situations. To gain Undetectable, a killer can run the Trail of Torment, Tinkerer, and Beast of Prey perks. The powers of certain killers also give them an Undetectable status effect when used. Examples of killer powers that accomplish this are The Wraith’s Wailing Bell, The Ghost Face’s Night Shroud, and the Sharpe’s Evil Within 1. Finally, there are specific weapon add-ons a Killer can use to give themselves the Undetcable status effect. Common weapon add-ons include “Bad Man’s” Last Breath, Iridescent Brick, and Blight Corruption.

The Killer can counter Vittori’s Quick Gambit perk by using any perks that punish players within their location or terror radius whenever you are put into the dying state or are being carried. These perks will interrupt other nearby survivors from repairing generators, give out their location to the Killer, or give them the Exposed status effect. Common perks that accomplish this are Starstruck, Jolt, and Infectious Fright.
