Paper Mario: The Origami King will release for the Nintendo Switch on July 17. It’s the first Paper Mario title to come to the Nintendo Switch since the portable console initially launched, and it’s a welcome nostalgia kick for anyone who remembers the first game back in 2000.

Right now, we have a trailer of the game, and a few in-game screenshots available from the game’s official website.

Luckily, all Nintendo fans do not need to wait to ensure they can reserve their copy. You can pre-order the game today, and you can receive a digital version of the game or a physical retail version. .

Unfortunately, those who wish to reserve a physical retail version of the game won’t be able to do so at the time of this writing. This is likely due to many physical locations around the world being quarantined due to COVID-19. We’ll modify this guide when we learn more details about how to receive the physical version.

There’s only a single option to pre-order the standard game, which includes the standard version. If additional versions come out with exclusive in-game items and content, we’ll update this guide when we learn those details.

You can expect to play Paper Mario: The Origami King on July 19.
