Whenever you hatch a Pokémon from an Egg in Pokémon Masters EX, you have the opportunity to form a Sync Pair with them. When you do, you can then make these Pokémon more powerful by raising their affinity level. This can be done by giving your Pokémon treats like Berry Tarts of different levels.
Berry Tarts are available in 1 Star, 2 Star, and 3 Star. You can obtain the 1 Star and 2 Star Berry Tarts at the Exchange Items General category with 3 Star Berry Tarts only available from Egg Event rewards.
Egg Events are not available as often as other events, making obtaining 3 Star Berry Tarts difficult.
Twenty of each Berry Tart type is needed to progress to the next level, and when your Pokémon are at affinity level 3, you will have the ability to form a Sync Pair with them. At that point, you’ll be able to fight side by side with the Pokémon you raised from an egg!
To check your Pokémon’s affinity, select the Sync Pair option at the bottom of the game’s homescreen, followed by the Affinity option.
