Harvestella is the latest title in the popular farming-and-life-simulator game genre, created by Final Fantasy developer Square Enix. Set in the fantasy world of Seaslight, besides farming and enjoying life, one should expect to hit heads against mysterious and powerful creatures. That means managing your team’s safety is essential in your adventure. Here are three ways you can heal and restore your Health in Harvestella.
1. Take a Break at Checkpoints
Harvestella features a rich and open world that’s also filled with dangerous enemies. And thus, it’s surprising that the game also provides its players with several places where they can take a break from gathering and fighting to save their data and heal all their depleted Health and Stamina. These Motus Monolite Checkpoints are relatively sparse, though, so do not rely on them too often; instead, bring your own healing items when you head out.
2. Eat Cooking Ingredients
While the game has a Cooking system, straight-up foraging and eating Cooking ingredients alone is still helpful in a pinch. For example, Little Mushroom can be quickly eaten to recover 300 Health. You can also find a Gold variant of the ingredients, which gives additional healing bonuses. With that in mind, always remember to check the item’s description to learn which ingredients are the best to heal and restore Health in Harvestella.
3. Cook and Eat Fully Prepared Meals
As I mentioned before, you can cook, and doing so is vital for your journey. The meals you prepare will allow you to keep your Stamina high, and they have various bonus effects to boot. Some foods only heal Health and replenish Stamina, but some could buff your damage, for example. Besides, when you take a break and share food with your Companion during Break Time, you can get closer to them and unlock unique interactions.
To start Cooking, you must visit The Renovator store in Lethe and afford the Kitchen Counter for your home. At 2,000 Grilla, you might think it’s a bit pricey but it’s worth the investment.
4. An Apple a Dungeon, Keeps the Doctor Away
Stocking up on food and healing items is crucial if you don’t want to spend money at the local doctor, Cres. If you got knocked out while adventuring, you’ll wake up in her clinic and have to pay Grilla. And it seems how much money you have to pay depends on how far away you’re from the town. The closer you’re to Nemea when you get defeated, the cheaper the doctor costs, and vice-versa.
Harvestella is now available for PC and Nintendo Switch.
