Recently, we wrote a detailed guide on how to run GeForce Now on a Chromebook. In our testing, we found the gaming experience quite good except for some minor latency issues. For your information, GFN works even in unsupported regions with the help of a VPN. So we thought, why not try to use GeForce Now on a much larger screen, say, Android TV? Well, we did and the cloud gaming experience on Android TV is top-notch. You can play desktop-level games on your TV and all you need is a fast internet connection. So if you are interested, follow our guide and learn how to run GeForce Now on Android TV.

Before we begin, let me tell you, if you from the US or Europe then you can run GeForce Now on your Android TV easily without any hacky workaround. However, if you belong to a region where GeForce Now has still not arrived then you will need a VPN. Don’t worry, VPN is just needed for authentication and not during the gameplay.

  1. Open the APK file and install GeForce Now on your Android TV right away.

  2. Now, go ahead and play any title on GeForce Now on your Android TV. Once the rig is allotted, you can disconnect the VPN on your TV. It will improve your gameplay and will reduce the latency.

The list below shows popular TVs that you can use the above method on to remove ads. The list is by no means exhaustive and is only here to show you an example of TVs that suffer from the ad problem.
