In The Dark Pictures Anthology: The Devil in Me, players experience the narrative through the perspective of five protagonists. Mark is one of them, and his life is threatened a few times during the story. In fact, Mark has more chances of staying alive than others and doesn’t face any real threat until the Workshop chapter. Here’s how to save Mark in The Devil in Me.
How to save Mark at Workshop in The Devil in Me?
At the Workshop, Mark is separated from the group and finds himself alone with Du’Met. There will be three scenarios where you must hide and take cover to avoid a quick death. In the last room, you’ll notice a dead body turned into a mannequin. Opposite to the body there is a table where Mark can find a screw and attach it to his tripod to make a weapon. Make sure to hide properly, as Du’Met captures Mark, and the story takes a nasty turn.
How to save Mark at Reunion in The Devil in Me?
Mark escapes from the Workshop, and eventually meets up with Charlie (if you managed to keep him alive). At this point in the story, you ideally want everyone alive. The story ends differently if Kate and Mark are the only two characters alive. We recommend keeping all characters alive until the Reunion, ensuring Mark’s survival. Otherwise, he is trapped in a room, and has to watch Du’Met torturing Kate, eventually killing them both.
How to save Mark at Lake in The Devil in Me?
Mark becomes the most vulnerable target in the final chapter, where the team is returning with the boat. Here, every character must perform certain Quick Time Events (QTE) to survive, and you’ll come across a few decisions as Kate and Jaime. As Kate, do not abandon Mark, as this will certainly kill him. As Jaime, you need to do the same and stick with Mark. Once Du’Met is defeated, the boat will crash, and you need to jump off it. Press the QTEs as soon as they pop up to save both Mark and Kate.
