Pokémon Legends: Arceus’ open-world gameplay changes many things about the Pokémon formula. Players can now approach Pokémon in ways they couldn’t before, thanks to the overworld catching mechanic introduced. One of the best ways to catch Pokémon is to sneak up on them, which may leave players wondering how to do this.
To sneak up on Pokémon in Pokémon Legends: Arceus, press B to go into a crouch. This will work best if the Pokémon cannot see you, so approach it from behind or use tall grass to hide in. Sneaking is a useful mechanic to catch Pokémon and avoid being spotted by hostile Pokémon.
One can use many different approaches when trying to catch Pokémon, but sneaking seems to be a good way to catch them unawares. Make sure to move slowly and stay out of their sight while sneaking upon them.
With so many different Pokémon to catch, you will need to use different tactics at times. Practice sneaking up on lower-level Pokémon, and then you can implement it against higher-level and rarer Pokémon!
