To solve the monument puzzle in Nihlbeth Ancient Coil in Star Ocean: The Divine Force, you must ensure the room is entirely empty of blocks. Then press the left button once, then the right button, to get the correct block alignment. Step on the switch on the floor to fire a fireball to burn the vines.
Monument Puzzle solution for the Nihlbeth Ancient Coil in Star Ocean Divine Force
When you get into this block puzzle room, the room is full of blocks. Make your way to the three buttons in front of the vines blocking the doorway. Once there, hit each one once to remove all the blocks from the room.
After it’s empty, all you need to do is hit the left button and then the right. Do not press anything else. Once done, step on the floor switch to shoot a fireball at the vines to incinerate, allowing you to progress further into Nihlbeth Ancient Coil.
How to get the Hidden Chest in Nihlbeth Ancient Coil in Star Ocean Divine Force
You can get this hidden chest in Nihlbeth Ancient Coil, which is in the corridor, before entering this monument room. However, the pathway is blocked by a block. It’s easier to do it after you have incinerated the vines covering the door.
To remove the block, after burning the vines, go into the monument room, and make the room empty again by pressing the right button, then the left. Once empty, press only the right button. This will elevate the central pillar, allowing access to the hidden chest.
