In order to trade items with other players in Elden Ring, you will first need to connect to a multiplayer match. After seeking the receiving player out, you will be able to leave up to eight items for the friend or foe to collect. After the eighth item is dropped, anything more with cause the first item to despawn. Therefore, you will need to make sure the other player is collecting the items before laying them out anymore.

To trade an item, simply locate what you want to offer in your Inventory and select the Leave command. This will automatically drop it to the floor, which the other player will be able to collect.
