How to Transfer:

  • First, you’ll want to ensure that your Splatoon 2 game data is on the current system you are using, as well as the correct user profile and settings. Checking this is super easy. All you have to do is head back to your Nintendo Switch’s home menu and open up Splatoon 2.
  • If you no longer have Splatoon 2 downloaded on your device, that is okay! Head to “System Settings,” then to “Data Management,” then finally to “Delete Save Data.” DO NOT SELECT TO DELETE ANY DATA.
  • You can see there whether your saved data for Splatoon 2 is on the list.
  • Next, Make sure Splatoon 3 is fully updated by checking for recent updates and downloading any
  • Open up Splatoon 3 with the same user profile that you used while playing Splatoon 2
  • Once the software fully launches, an automatic prompt will be delivered asking you to import your saved data. Choose the import button, and you are finished!
