Monster Hunter Rise Sunbreak is a vast expansion for the hit game Monster Hunter Rise. It adds a plethora of new monsters, as well as new Decorations, armor, and weapons. Decorations are jewels that you can slot into armor and weapons to give them new skills, and skills in the Monster Hunter series are vital for survivability and causing more damage to the monsters you face. Many new Decorations were added for you to craft, so here’s what they are and how to unlock all the new Decorations in MHR Sunbreak.
All New Decorations in MHR Sunbreak
Slots come in all four different sizes. In the base game, this was three, but Sunbreak added a higher level Decoration into the mix: a level four slot. Pay close attention to the size of the slot on your weapon/armor and the one you are trying to craft, as you can only fit in the same size or lower.
So, if you have a single level three slot on your armor, you can insert one of the following into it: a level three Decoration, a level two Decoration, or a level one Decoration. Essentially, you can slot it any level below it, but nothing above it.

Sunbreak Decoration Slot Level 4
Here are all the new level four Decorations you can craft in MHR Sunbreak. These are entirely new to Sunbreak, allowing you to potentially get fundamental skills for a single Decoration slot, or at least double the level needed.
Sunbreak Decoration Slot Level 3
Here are all of the new level three Decorations you can craft in MHR Sunbreak. Though these may not be as powerful as level four slots, some incredible skills lay in level three slot Decorations.
Sunbreak Decoration Slot Level 2
These level two Decorations may be useless for some weapons, but for Dual Blades, these will free up some slots, allowing them to focus more on essential skills. Take a look at our Dual Blades progression guide for more details.
Sunbreak Decoration Slot Level 1
Only one new level one Decoration was added into Sunbreak.
All New Rampage Decorations in Sunbreak
How to get all Rampage Decorations in MHR Sunbreak
Rampage Decorations have replaced Ramage Skills from the base game. Instead of earning tickets to add these Rampage Skills to your weaponry by playing Rampage tower defense mode in Rise, you can craft Rampage Decorations and slot them into your weapons (like any other Decoration) in Sunbreak.
