You can meet monsters almost everywhere, so knowing how the local combat system works is a great idea. Strong monsters can quickly finish you off, so our guide is here to tell you how to unlock Dodge in Harvestella.
How to Get Dodge and Dash in Harvestella
First, it is worth noting that there are no Dodge mechanics in the game. You can’t just press a couple of keys to Dodge an attack, as this process is implemented differently in the game. As you progress, you can learn and use such mechanics as Dash and Step, which are the Dodge mechanics. So let’s talk about each of these in more detail.
Perhaps you should start with Dash. This mechanic is basic for every character, and you can use it at the beginning of the game. To be more precise, you can use Dash during your first fight, and this move can be called your first Dodge. To use a Dash, you must hold Left Shift and W, S, D, and A depending on which way you want to move. While using this skill, you quickly move to the selected side, and the enemy does not have time to redirect his blow and therefore misses.

The second skill of Dodge is Step, and unlike Dash, you have to unlock it. This skill allows you to create a small distance between you and the enemy during combat. Thanks to this, the enemy misses you with his attacks, and you have a few seconds to counterattack. To unlock the Step/dodge, you must go to the Job tab and select Fighter. In this section, you will find several skills that you can unlock or improve and Step is one of these. To unlock Step in Harvestella, you need 150 JP.
Finally, we add that you should not choose one of the Dodge mechanics. Try to combine Step and Dash during the battle to find an effective Dodge strategy for any opponent.
Harvestella is now available for PC and Nintendo Switch.
