How to Unlock Donald Duck in Disney Dreamlight Valley

As we said earlier, you won’t be able to find Donald Duck at the start of the game. Therefore, you must unlock the Forest of Valor location. You will need to collect some Dreamlight and complete the quest Restore the Pillar of Friendship in the Peaceful Meadow. Therefore, do all this before you go in search of Donald Duck. Once you visit the Forest of Valor, you will soon encounter Kristoff standing near a gloomy portal. After a talk with him, you will learn that the brave Donald Duck, pursuing a strange creature, jumped to the portal.

To unlock Donald Duck in Disney Dreamlight Valley, you have to accept Kristoff’s quest and find Donald Duck in a dark portal. Entering the portal, you will see a Dark Grove shrouded in mist and a little darkness. Don’t touch the mist, as you will instantly teleport back to the Forest of Valor.

In this dimension, you must find the Donald Duck feather. After that, you can return to Kristoff. But we also advise you to collect several feathers and plants at once, as you will need them later.

Where to find Leeks in Disney Dreamlight Valley

After returning and talking with Kristoff, go to Merlin and talk with him about creating a Search Potion. To create a Potion, you will need to collect the following materials:

  • Donald’s Feather. Search in the Portal Dimension.
  • 2 Emeralds. You can get this material by breaking black stones in the Forest of Valor with your Pickaxe.
  • 4 Dream Shards. This material is relatively rare, and you must destroy Night Thorns to get it.
  • Plant from the Dark Grove. Search in the Portal Dimension.

After collecting all the materials, take them to Merlin so that he make a Search Potion for you. After that, go back to the Dark Portal. Using the potion, you will see a small floating feather. Follow the feather, and you’ll find Donald Duck pretty soon.
