While WWE 2K Battlegrounds does have an extensive roster that includes both current and former WWE performers, that doesn’t mean you’ll have access to all of them right off the bat. There will be a handful of wrestlers you can choose from upon starting up the game for the first time, but the majority of WWE superstars in the game will have to be unlocked. So how do you unlock every single character in WWE 2K Battlegrounds? Let’s go over what you have to do.

But before we get into how to unlock all the characters, let’s quickly go over which wrestlers you will have access to at first launch. Those wrestlers are as followed:

Male WWE Wrestlers

To unlock more WWE wrestlers, you will need to acquire Bucks or Golden Bucks. Most wrestlers can be bought using either form of currency. However, the cost for each is different. Also, some wrestlers can only be unlocked through the game’s Campaign mode.

With that said, let’s go over how you need to unlock every character in WWE 2K Battlegrounds:

    • – Unlocked in New York part of Campaign^ – Unlocked in Florida part of Campaign** – Unlocked in Mexico part of Campaign^^ – Unlocked in Scotland part of Campaign*** – Unlocked in Boot Camp part of Campaign^^^ – Unlocked in Detroit part of campaign

Keep in mind a few things about this list. First, to unlock the wrestlers that will cost Bucks or Golden Bucks, you will have to scroll over to the Superstars tab at the home screen. Here, you will see which wrestlers have been unlocked and which ones have not. To unlock a wrestler, scroll over to one in a figurine case and then hit Y/Triangle to purchase that superstar.

Second, keep in mind that many of the wrestlers that are in WWE 2K Battlegrounds are not accessible as of this writing. Over 50 more WWE wrestlers will be added in a post-launch update, meaning that you will have to wait to use those competitors. This list will be updated once those wrestlers are added to the game.
