If there is one thing for sure that arrives with each patch of FFXIV is a new set of Main Scenario Quests. These quests usually bring two new things in every update: a new trial and a new dungeon. We’ll focus on the latter. The dungeon of FFXIV patch 6.3 is Lapis Manalis. You’ll get to this instance naturally while progressing through the story. Yet, some people might be eager to know how soon or how late. Well, don’t fret because today, we’ll tell you how to unlock the Lapis Manalis dungeon in FFXIV Patch 6.3.

How to unlock the Lapis Manalis dungeon in FFXIV Patch 6.3

Players who are eager to unlock the new instance might have to wait a while. While in the previous patch, the dungeon unlocked on the first quest. Here it’ll take a while. These are the steps you need to follow to unlock the Lapis Manalis dungeon in FFXIV Patch 6.3:

  • Reach level 90 and finish the Main Scenario Quests of the Endwalker expansion

Thankfully for some, everything is locked behind the main story, which makes sense. While you can unlock the new Alliance Raid on a side quest, the dungeon and trial are locked behind the story. This is great for some who want to learn more about the lore of the game. Let’s remember that FFXIV is an MMO that relies heavily on its story and has been one of the main reasons for its success. Yet, if you just want to unlock the instance as fast as possible, you can skip all the cutscenes and reach the mission. We don’t recommend it, though. The team behind the game has put a lot of effort into every patch with great animation, voice acting, and other features. So, we encourage you to try everything this game has to offer. Once you finish the story, remember that you can unlock the Extreme Trial. A hard but very rewarding instance for those ready to tackle the hard content of the game.
