To the delight of players, Disney Dreamlight Valley released its first major story update. This time around, players get to welcome another famous Disney character: Scar. You won’t access him right away, however, if you haven’t finished a few prerequisites. We will walk you through everything you need to unlock Scar’s storyline in Disney Dreamlight Valley.
Unlock Scar’s Storyline in Disney Dreamlight Valley
Like the rest of the characters you meet in the Valley, Scar’s storyline connects overall. As such, you must first complete other tasks around the Valley before you can access this storyline.
For those of you who have accessed the game for quite some time now, you may have already completed these steps. In this case, you can access Scar’s storyline in Disney Dreamlight Valley right away.
As for everyone else, follow the steps below:
- Unlock Sunlit Plateau
- Complete “The Curse” Quest
With the Sunlit Plateau, prepare to spend 7,000 Dreamlight to unlock and get one step closer to Scar in Disney Dreamlight Valley.
For “The Curse” is Mother Gothel’s story quest. Before you can get this, it requires you to have access to Glade of Trust (5,000 Dreamlight). Additionally, you must have finished “With Great Power…” and “Lost in the Dark Grove. Those quests are involved in Part 2 of the story quests in the game. Meanwhile, Mother Gothel’s is in Part 3.
To access Scar in Disney Dreamlight Valley, you must repair all 4 pillars during the quest: Friendship, Courage, Trust, and Power.
With that said, it is clear that you won’t gain access to Scar anytime soon in the game if you are just starting out. So, take some time and explore the Valley along with everyone else’s storylines. You’ll unlock our favorite lion villain before you know it.
