After unlocking Miang and Menya in the Vampire Survivors: Legacy of the Moonspell DLC, the next character players will likely aim to unlock is Syuuto and his alternate “Super Saiyan” form, Megalo Syuuto. Syuuto’s starting weapon is Summon Night, an armament that summons vertical pillars of lingering damage on-screen. Since this is an indirect means of attacking enemy targets, Syuuto will need to ensure his positioning is skillfully conducted during the starting portion of a run. On the other hand, Megalo Syuuto starts with the Night Sword, a dangerous cursed weapon that can lacerate nearby enemies and retaliate with a slashing combo around the player character.
Unlocking Syuuto and Megalo Syuuto in Vampire Survivors
First, Vampire Survivors players can unlock the Syuuto character in the Legacy of the Moonspell DLC by evolving Four Seasons. For those unfamiliar, Four Seasons is the starting weapon of Menya Moonspell, the unit unlocked after evolving Miang’s weapon. To evolve Four Seasons, players must combine it with a max-leveled Candelabrador and Spinach.
Vampire Survivors: How to Unlock McCoy-Oni
Based on suggestions by YouTuber Nuzzy, the fastest way to evolve Four Seasons to unlock Syuuto in Vampire Survivors would be to enter a Stage on Hurry Mode to increase the Time Speed and XP gained from slaying enemies. Next, players must limit their Max Weapon to 1 slot, after which they can start their run with Mad Groove, an Arcana that pulls all stage items directly to the player character’s position. This Arcana will enable players to quickly get the Candelabrador and Spinach required for Four Seasons’ evolution. The next step is leveling both Passive Items to max to get Godai Shuffle and unlock Syuuto.
To unlock Megalo Syuuto in Vampire Survivors, players must complete a much more challenging feat than Syuuto’s prerequisite. More specifically, Megalo Syuuto becomes available once players have defeated a total of 100,000 enemies in a single run while playing as Syuuto. Pro Game Guides recommends that users achieve this task by using Endless Mode to ensure the influx of hostile mobs never stops. Next, players are advised to get Pentagram and evolve it into Gorgeous Moon. This weapon, paired with the Mad Groove VIII Arcana, becomes a deadly pair that will enable Syuuto to efficiently clear anything in his path.
