If you’re looking to collect all four of the playable characters available in Tuanul Village, the first one that will show up is Teedo. A “small, bothersome scrounger,” Teedo is a Scavenger who normally relies on his luggabeast to “counter his diminutive frame.” To add Teedo to your roster of playable characters, you first need to complete his side quest, Luggabeast of Burden, which is available at any point after you progress through Tuanul Village in Episode VII: The Force Awakens and unlock Free Play.
To start the Luggabeast of Burden side quest, you’ll need to talk to Teedo at Tuanul Village on Jakku. You’ll also need to do this while playing as a Protocol Droid. You can find Teedo at the location shown on the map below.
When you do talk to Teedo, he’ll ask if you can help him by tracking down his lost Luggabeast and returning it to him. The luggabeast in question is at the Niima Outpost, also on Jakku.
To capture the luggabeast, which is at the location show below, you’ll first need to exhaust it in combat. For this fight, we’d recommend switching to a character with an effective long range weapon. This is because the luggabeast often uses charging attacks that cover a large distance, making it tough to keep up in melee combat. Although many of its attacks have a large radius of effect, they are still relatively slow, so stay patient and take advantage of the large openings to deal damage.
Once you defeat the Luggabeast, you can approach it to call in a droid and send it back to Tuanul Village. After this, all you need to do is report back to Teedo at the same place you spoke to him before and he’ll join your roster of playable characters.
