Call of Duty Warzone and Black Ops Cold War has just begun their Season 5. Included with new maps, new challenges, and a whole new Battle Pass, the update also included two new weapons: the EM2 and TEC-9. This guide will show you how to unlock the EM2 and TEC-9 in Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War and Warzone.
How to Get the EM2 and TEC-9 in Cold War and Warzone
The EM2 and TEC-9 are both free weapons that can be found in the Battle Pass for Season 5 of Warzone and Cold War. This means there are only two ways to get these weapons. If you play either Cold War or Warzone you will unlock the weapons for free. You don’t even need to purchase the Battle Pass as the weapons are included in the 20 items that are free in the Pass. At Tier 15, you will unlock the assault rifle, the EM2. The in-game description describes the weapon as having “slower fire rate with reliable range.” The TEC-9 can be earned at Tier 31. The SMG is a semi-auto gun with low recoil and high damage output. The other way to unlock the EM2 and TEC-9 is to spend CoD Points. This can be done by purchasing the Tiers up to the weapons you want or going to the store page and buying a bundle that includes a Blueprint for the weapon you want. Each Tier costs 150 CoD Points, so starting at Tier 1, it would cost 4,650 CoD Points to unlock both weapons.
There are no challenges attached to these weapons, so once you reach the Tiers or get a Blueprint you will unlock the weapons. Whether you put in the game time or spend money, you will get both of these weapons and be able to start leveling them up to get new camos and attachments in both Warzone and Cold War.
