If you pre-ordered Super Robot Wars 30, you’re probably wondering how you unlock the SRX and its pilot Ryusei Date. Ryusei and his giant robot, the Super Robot X-Type, made their first debut in Super Robot Wars Original Generation and returned here in SRW 30 as a bonus for pre-ordering the game.
But to unlock the SRX and its pilot, you’ll need to play through a bit of the game. First things first, you’ll need to start the game from the Space Route, selecting L3 Colony Elion as your starting area.
Next, you’ll need to complete four main story missions, unlocking the various units and allies that come with them. After this, you’ll unlock an extra mission during the next intermission.
This mission will be called Spirit of Steel, and you’ll have to play through and complete this mission. Once it’s complete, you will have unlocked the Ryusei, the SRX, and the rest of the SRX team.
Don’t worry if you didn’t start the space route, though. If you started your game of Super Robot Wars 30 on earth, you could still unlock the SRX after you’ve completed seven story missions and headed to space. Once you’ve accessed space, you can complete the Spirit of Steel mission and unlock the SRX
