There are plenty of secret achievements or trophies to unlock on Xbox and PlayStation in Little Nightmares II, but some can be easily missed. The What’s in the Box!? achievement in Tarsier Studios’ horror adventure title is one such example, and you will be kicking yourself for not finding it sooner after you read our guide.
To get the What’s in the Box!? secret achievement, you will need to enter the Hunter’s home in chapter one. It is the first building you encounter after you evade all of the traps in the forest, so head up the stairs and in through the open window.
You will enter the kitchen. You can walk around the counter top that follows the back wall, leap across to the dinner table ahead of you, or drop down to the floor to exit the room. Before you do, head over to the fridge. All you need to do now is jump and grab the fridge door handle to open it. The door will swing open to reveal a lot of food and drink inside. The achievement or trophy should pop within a couple of seconds of the fridge being opened.
This achievement is worth 20 gamerscore on Xbox systems or a bronze trophy on Playstation consoles, and you will need to get it to achieve 100% completion in Little Nightmares II. The tagline reads, “What did you expect to find in there?” and it is a fun little iconic ode to the movie Se7en, which is where the achievement and trophy’s title comes from.
