Horizon Forbidden West allows players to upgrade their equipment and “pouches.” You can do this at workbenches scattered around the game’s massive open-world map. The pouch upgrades will garner a range of effects mostly centered around the carrying capacity for the targeted item.
Bomb Pouch upgrades allow players to carry more bombs at once. This is an extremely useful upgrade as bombs can do enormous amounts of damage and can get players out of some sticky situations.
What ingredients are needed to upgrade the Bomb Pouch?
There are a total of four Bomb Pouch upgrades. The items needed for each upgrade are listed below:
- Upgrade 1 - 25 Metal Shards, 1 Boar BoneUpgrade 2 - 50 Metal Shards, 3 Vulture FeathersUpgrade 3 - 100 Metal Shards, 1 Salmon Bone, 3 Owl FeathersUpgrade 4 - 200 Metal Shards, 3 Lobster Shells, 1 Peccary Bone, 1 Iridescent Crab Shell
These items can be obtained by killing animals around the map and looting their bodies. Some items are more difficult than others, but animals seem to have a much higher chance of dropping rare items than machines, so it shouldn’t take too long to upgrade this pouch.
