Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 3 has flooded the map, and things look very different from how they use to. There is are also a host of new challenges, including a new set to get the Aquaman skin. The first challenge is to use a Whirlpool at the Fortilla. Both the Fortilla and the Whirlpool are new this season, so in this guide, we will show you what to do.
The Fortilla is a new named location that can be found in the southwest corner of the map. It’s a massive, floating island, built from scrap and metal, and looks like something out of Waterworld.
You can either drop directly to the location from the Battle Bus or swim to it if you land close by. As you drop in, you will be able to see a Whirlpool in the water, it will look like a circle of turbulent water near the island. All you need to do is swim or drop into it, and it will suck you up and then fire you high into the air.
It will throw you high enough to be able to deploy your glider again, so this will be a great way to rapidly cover some ground in the game. And that’s it, the challenge will be complete, and you can get stuck into discovering the rest of the exciting changes that this season has brought to the game.
